Travaillant chez Icon Factory, un gigantesque site regroupant des icônes riches en couleurs et créations, ce designer a donné récemment une interview à MacThemes.net, principalement à propos du design et des icônes pour Mac ainsi que de son parcours d'artiste. Il est référencé sur son site personnel ainsi que ses archives. - Apple s'est tout récemment vu décerner un brevet extrêmement important concernant les écrans multitouch, que ce soit à propos des smartphones ou bien des tablettes tactiles. Ce brevet, demandé par Apple il y a trois ans et demi, se trouve être relativement vaste et concerne globalement l'utilisation d'un écran tactile multitouch mis en place sur un appareil portable doté de fonctions similaires à celles d'un ordinateur. Le dossier, numéroté 7,966,578, pourrait en fait être une véritable mine d'or pour Apple. En effet, il permettrait potentiellement à Apple de demander l'arrêt de la commercialisation de l'ensemble des smartphones concurrents sur le territoire américain. - Pour mieux comprendre pourquoi Orange s'acharne tant à garder son exclusivité iPhone avec un pourvoi en cassation déposé cette après-midi, il faut lire cet article paru sur le site "Les Echos", qui se sont procurés l'arrêt de la cour d'appel dans lequel les juges ont fait quelques calculs... On y apprend par exemple qu'au bout de 18 mois (durée d'un engagement moyen), les 450 000 clients iPhone ont permis de dégager un chiffre d'affaire de 700 millions d'euros, soit un bénéfice de 280 millions d'euros. De quoi faire tourner pas mal de tête, dont celles de Bouygues et SFR. De plus un client qui s'engage sur 18 mois avec un iPhone dépense en moyenne 86 par mois. Une panne expliquée sur le blog officiel de la firme comme une erreur lors d'une maintenance : "Un nouvel algorithme essaie de stocker les données des utilisateurs au plus près de leur lieu de résidence. L'un des serveurs a été saturé, causant des problèmes en cascade".
