- Contre toute attente, Apple a mis a jour il y a quelque minutes le MacBook d'entrée de gamme, qui ne passe pas en coque "unibody" mais garde sa robe blanche de l'ancienne génération. Alors quoi de neuf? Le remplacement de la puce graphique Intel GMA X1300 par la Geforce 9400M, la même qui équipe les MacBook "unibody". On passe également de 1 à 2 Go de Ram, mais petite précision toutefois, celle-ci reste de la DDR2 et non pas de la DDR3 comme on trouve sur les MacBook supérieurs. Niveau processeur, Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz (au lieu de 2.1 Ghz), avec un bus de carte mère de 1066 Mhz et 3 Mo de cache (contre 800 Mhz et 4 Mo de cache). [...] Lire la suite

- Avant toute chose, un petit rappel sur la virtualisation : cette technologie permet, au contraire du dual boot, de lancer simultanément sur une machine, deux systèmes d'exploitation. Un peu à la manière de virtual PC, mais avec des performances incomparablement plus élevées. Ceci car la technologie ne repose pas sur l'émulation du système, mais bel et bien sur le fonctionnement en simultané. Nombre d'indiscrétions prévoyaient, au travers d'un rachat ou d'un partenariat, l'intégration du logiciel Parralels Desktop, logiciel de virtualisation permettant de faire tourner Windows XP ou autre en même temps que Mac OS X sur un Mac Intel, dans Mac OS X 10.5.
